The Prague Society for International Cooperation and the Global Panel Foundation are honored to announce that this year’s Hanno R. Ellenbogen Citizenship Award is to be presented to former NATO Secretary General Lord George Robertson of Port Ellen on the evening of the 17th of October 2003.

The HRE Citizenship Award is given each year to an individual who has dedicated their life to public service with the stipulation that the 150.000Kc financial portion is passed to a gifted young person. Previous recipients of the award have been Vaclav Havel, Madeleine Albright, F.W. de Klerk, Vladimir Ashkenazy and the Conducting Corps of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra.
